How to change your Deliveroo menu
Menu Manager is built into Restaurant Hub, it is free, and edits you publish yourself do not wait for approval. Here is the flow, and the one thing that trips people up.
The steps
- Sign in to Restaurant Hub at restaurant-hub.deliveroo.net.
- Open Menus in the left sidebar.
- Click the item you want to change. You can edit the name, description, photo and price.
- Click Save.
- Click Publish. This is the step people miss - saving alone does not put the change in front of customers. Publishing is what sets the menu live.
The "up to 3 days" thing. You may have seen Deliveroo say menu changes take up to three days. That applies to changes requested through the help form by partners who do not have Menu Manager access. If you are editing in Menu Manager yourself, there is no documented approval step or delay - you save, you publish, it is live.
Marking something sold out
Use the availability toggle on the item rather than deleting it. Deleting loses the item's photo, description and history, and you have to rebuild it when the delivery arrives. Toggling availability is reversible in one tap.
Letting somebody else do it
Deliveroo has a proper way to do this, and it does not involve giving anyone your password. In Restaurant Hub, go to Teams and invite the person by email. They get their own login. You can remove them whenever you like, and their access ends immediately.
Role scoping protects the money side: only your Admin login can touch bank details. Deliveroo's own terms put responsibility for anyone using your credentials on you - which is exactly why the invite mechanism exists and why sharing a password is the wrong move.
Do this before you change a price anywhere. Change it on one platform and your other listings are now wrong. A price that is 60p out on 25 orders a week is roughly £65 a month, quietly, until somebody notices. If you are updating Deliveroo, update Just Eat and Uber Eats in the same sitting - or have someone do all of them at once.
Common questions
Do Deliveroo menu changes need approval?
Not for edits you make and publish in Menu Manager yourself - there is no documented approval step or delay for those. The 'up to 3 days' figure applies to changes requested through the help form by partners who do not have Menu Manager access.
Does Menu Manager cost anything?
No. Menu Manager is the built-in Restaurant Hub tool and no charge for it appears anywhere in Deliveroo's help documentation.
How do I let a member of staff update the menu?
In Restaurant Hub, go to Teams and invite them by email. They get their own login, so you never share a password, and you can remove them at any time - access ends immediately.
Why is my change not showing to customers?
The most common reason is saving without publishing. In Menu Manager, Save stores the change and Publish is what sets the menu live.
Or send it to us and skip all three
You WhatsApp us the change once - a price, a new dish, something sold out. We make it live on Just Eat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and your own website, and send you a screenshot when it's done.
Your first change is free, so you can see it work before you pay anything. After that it's £39 a month flat for one location. No contract, no card up front.
