How to update menu prices on Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats
The apps do not share a menu, so a price change is made three times. Here is how to do it in one sitting and check it landed.
The five steps
- 1. Write the change down onceOne list: the dish, the old price, the new price, and the price for each app if they differ.
- 2. Just Eat: Partner HubOpen your menu, find the item, edit the price and save.
- 3. Deliveroo: Menu Manager in Restaurant HubEdit the item, Save, then Publish. Publishing is what sets the menu live.
- 4. Uber Eats: Uber Eats ManagerEdit the item and save. Some changes are reviewed and can take up to 24 hours.
- 5. Check what customers seeOpen each listing as a customer would, or paste your Just Eat and Uber Eats links into the free price checker.
Keep one master price list
The apps do not talk to each other. The simplest way to keep your prices where you want them is one list, kept somewhere you can open on your phone, with a column for each app.
Same price everywhere, or a different one per app to reflect each app's fee: both are normal choices (see Just Eat vs Deliveroo vs Uber Eats commission). The list is what makes either choice hold when prices change.
Timing
- Do Uber Eats firstIt is the one that may wait for a review, so it has the longest to go live.
- Do not stop at Save on DeliverooPublish, then look at the listing.
- Avoid changing prices just before a busy eveningGive the changes time to show, then check them before you rely on them.
- Or hand it overMenuSync vs updating each app yourself, side by side.
Questions
Can I update Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats at once?
Not from one screen: each app has its own dashboard, so a price change is made three times. Do all three in the same sitting, from one list, or have someone do it for you.
Why is my Uber Eats price change not showing yet?
Uber's help documentation says some updates need a check by its menu team and may take up to 24 hours. Photos are reviewed separately.
Why is my Deliveroo change not live?
The most common reason is saving without publishing. In Menu Manager, Save stores the change and Publish sets the menu live.
Can each app have a different price?
Yes. Each app lets you set your own prices, so you can use one price everywhere or a different one per app.
