Menu sync: keep Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats in step

The apps do not share a menu. Here is how to make one change land on all three, and the three ways to do it.

The short answer

Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats do not share a menu. Menu sync means making the same change on all three, from one list, and checking it landed. You can do that yourself in each dashboard, through a connected till if you have one, or by sending the change to someone who does it for you.

Three ways to do it

  • Yourself, in each dashboardJust Eat Partner Hub, Deliveroo Menu Manager and Uber Eats Manager, one after the other. Free, and it takes a sitting each time.
  • Through your till (POS)If your till is integrated with an app, the menu for that app is changed from the till.
  • Send it to usOne WhatsApp message, and we make the change on all three.

Doing it yourself, in one sitting

  1. Write the change down once. Dish, new price, and the price for each app if they differ. Include extras and options, which carry prices too.
  2. Uber Eats first. Uber says some updates are checked by its menu team and may take up to 24 hours. See how to update your Uber Eats menu.
  3. Deliveroo. Edit in Menu Manager, Save, then Publish. See how to use Deliveroo Menu Manager.
  4. Just Eat. In Partner Hub, Management, then Menu/Items: edit, Save, and Publish once you have made all your changes. See changing your Just Eat menu.
  5. Check what customers see. Paste your Just Eat and Uber Eats links into the free menu price checker.

If your till is connected

Some tills connect to the delivery apps. Where one does, the app expects menu changes to come from the till: Uber, for example, tells integrated partners not to edit in Menu Maker. Ask your till provider which apps it updates. Any app it does not cover still needs changing by hand.

How MenuSync does it

  1. You send the change on WhatsApp: a text, a photo of a note or a voice note.
  2. We make it on Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
  3. You get a screenshot of each live listing.

On Deliveroo and Uber Eats you invite us from your own account, so you never share a password. Your first change is free with no card needed, then it is £39 a month for one shop. Prices on each app can be the same or different; you choose. See pricing or MenuSync compared with doing it yourself.

Questions

Do Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats sync menus with each other?

No. Each app keeps its own copy of your menu in its own dashboard, so a change on one is not copied to the others.

What is the simplest way to keep menu prices in sync?

Keep one master list with a column for each app, change all three in the same sitting, and check each live listing afterwards. Or send the change to a service that does it for you.

How does MenuSync work?

You send the change on WhatsApp. We update Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats and send you a screenshot of each live listing. Your first change is free, then it is £39 a month for one shop.

Does every app have to show the same price?

No. Each app lets you set your own prices, so one price everywhere or a different price per app are both normal choices.
